Vapid Lacquer Halloween Quartet

Hullo!  It's late. Or is it early?  The last 2 days have been a blur.  It's been go go go and right now I have 6 little girls in my living room from a slumber party and I'm not sure if any of us slept.  Thankfully my boys don't mind being shunned to their rooms for the night while the girls take over.  And at least I know they got sleep.  So I meant to get this post up yesterday, but like I said, it's been about 48 hours of non-stop mom life.  So if you're a night owl, let's talk about Vapid Lacquer!  So there are these Halloween polishes.  You may know them.  They are returning classics.  They are gorgeous!  Let's just jump in so you can appreciate them for their dark, broody beauty.  And then you can make a plan to pick up the Halloween Quartet later today (9/17) during the restock at 6pm CST!

Let's start with Apparition, a light grey polish with 3 different silver holo glitters and a shifting shimmer.  Awesome color, very ghostly!  Formula was great, application was great.  I used 3 coats for full coverage and finished up with topcoat.

Purple Poison is a vibrant violet polish with 2 different types of holo.  Another totally awesome color, perfect for Halloween!  Formula and application are both fabulous!  I used 2 coats for total opaqueness and a layer of topcoat.

Vampire's Don't Suck is a stunning blood red with same tone shimmer.  YAS!  This is so my jam!  I'm loving this deep, vampy shade.  It feels sexy and dangerous.  Formula and application were both awesome.  2 coats covered my nails completely.  Topcoat to finish.

And last but not least is Witching House, a black based polish with drop dead gorgeous purple glow.  Super pretty!  I did find the formula on this one a bit thinner the others yet it still had amazing coverage.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and topcoat for extra shine!
