Fit Snack Box: April 2017

Morning friends!  Today I have another Fit Snack Box to share with you.  Have you tried this subscription box out yet?  I have really been enjoying all the healthy snacks and treats that are delivered to my mail box.  These boxes are great for athletes, busy moms (or dads) and even provide healthy options for kids!  This box has been my favorite so far because I am in love with one product in particular.  I wonder if you can guess which one it is.  You can sign up for a 3, 6, or more, monthly subscription.  Each box promises $32 value inside!  You can save $3 off any subscription package using my link HERE.  Let's jump in and see the tasty snacks I received!

So I jumped right in with my favorite product.  Nutiva is a delicious chocolate hazelnut spread that is organic and gluten free.  It's rich and decadent and not overly sugary.  This is a great treat if you have a hankering for chocolate.  It's also great on toast for breakfast.  Mmmmmm mmmmm good stuff!  My box came with 2 individual servings of the classic milk chocolate hazelnut spread and a larger tub of the dark chocolate hazelnut spread.  Both are amazing.

Buff Bake is another delicious treat, in cookie form!  There are high in protein (16 grams to be exact) so they'd be perfect for an after-workout snack. I got a snicker doodle flavored cookie and it was very enjoyable.  It was more of a cake type cookie that the classic cookie, but it definitely has that cinnamon flavors that all snicker doodles have.   I also think this is a generous portion, it's a fairly large cookie so I didn't have that "I want another one" after I ate it.

Go Viter Energy are caffeinated breath mints.  These are nice and minty and have quite a lot of caffeine, 40mg!  I did like these, but I prefer gum to breath mints.  These will be great on a long run, when my mouth gets dried out and I need a little burst of energy to get t the finish.

I got Rise Buddy last month (sea salt flavor) and really like it.  This time I got Pizza flavor and I still really like it!  I'm not one for food flavored like other food, but this was an enjoyable tomato sauce flavor.  It had a bit of a sweet undertone to it, but I could tell it was a pizza flavor.  Rise Buddy chips are gluten free, trans fat free and make from brown rice.  These are a yummy, healthy option for you and your family.

I was happy to see RXBAR in my box!  My husband has been buying these for a month or so now and I'll eat them on the go.  They are tasty and great for you.  I like that there is a very small list of ingredients to make these bars.  I got chocolate sea salt flavor and it's really delicious.  Chocolatey, a little salty, a lot good.  I will say that these are sticky.  As in you take a bit and you'll have bar stuck to your front teeth.  It's also very filling.  I've eaten half at one point in the day and finished the second half much later.  Anywho...this product gets 2 thumbs up from me!

Alrighty, here we have a container of Purely Inspired Organic Greens.  This was a bonus item in my package.  It's a powder mix of fruits and veggies that you can add to water or a smoothie to up your vitamin/mineral intake.  I don't have much experience with shakes so I can't compare this to any other shakes for you. I threw a scoop into the recommended 8-10 ounces of water (you can also use almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk) and shook it up well in my blender bottle.  The smell isn't great so I was surprised at how sweet it tastes.  Like a blend of fruit, but I wasn't able to distinguish the actual flavor.  I was thankful it was at least sweet so it's easy to drink.  Shake shake shake, you want that powder mixed up really well.  I would definitely add this to a pre or post workout drink just for an extra dose of essentials.
